Food Philosophy

When it comes to the food we eat, I believe we are on our own journey. We have unique needs based on our constitution, age, and specific health goals we are reaching for. What works for one person won’t necessarily work for another. This is why fad diets are genuinely a waste of time.

With each client, I meet them where they are at in terms of the food choices. I don’t prescribe a specific kind of diet. I won’t tell you that you must follow Keto or eat a Paleo diet.

My philosophy is more in line with that of Michael Pollan, who simply states:

“Eat real food. Not too much. Mostly plants.”

I believe we can always upgrade our food choices. The more we can fill our plate with REAL food (not processed, made-in-a-plant food), the more our bodies will find balance in response to the abundance of nutrients. But let’s be clear. It is not about being perfect and eating to a harsh set of rules.

I teach women to experiment with themselves. When you eat gluten, how do you feel? If you increase your protein, do you stay satiated longer? Does your digestion improve when you increase fiber?

My main goal is to teach you how to know for yourself what feels best in your body. No more outsourcing the decisions. No more looking for the next fad diet. Look inside. Listen to your body. It will tell you what it wants and needs. When you find the answers for yourself, you build trust with yourself. Our most powerful resources for change come from within. You already have everything you need.
